overview.
A Spring Boot cloud drive with AI-based storage tiering. Files live in hot (plain) or cold (gzip-compressed) storage, and a model decides when to archive them. It includes account sign-up with administrator approval, private per-account drives with nested folders, drag-and-drop uploads, and an admin panel with an AI-generated storage summary.
technical implementation.
Tiering Optimizer
Access history feeds a model that predicts upcoming use; the optimizer archives idle files to gzip-compressed cold storage and keeps frequently used ones hot.
Privacy-Safe AI Summary
Only aggregate numbers (counts, sizes, response times) are sent to the Gemini API — the payload has no text fields, so no file or folder name can leak, and a test enforces it.
